My Approach to Hoofcare

As a second-year equine podiatrist, my whole horse health approach to hoof care is rooted in the belief that soundness is the cornerstone of a long and fulfilling partnership between you and your horse. By addressing not just the hoof health, but considering the entire horse's well-being, I aim to collaborate with your team to prevent and manage issues that can impact your horse's health and performance. My focus on long-term soundness ensures that each horse I care for is not only healthy today but can enjoy a long, active life, strengthening the bond between horse and owner. Together, we can achieve a balanced, holistic approach to barefoot hoof care that supports your horse's overall longevity and happiness.

Initial Consultation & Barefoot Trim

£45

At EquiHarmony, I offer comprehensive hoof care that goes beyond a simple trim. During your initial consultation, we'll discuss your horse’s history, workload, environment, and diet. I'll conduct a gait analysis, examine and photograph the hooves, and then trim them. You'll receive a detailed report with my findings and a customized action plan to guide us in optimizing your horse's hoof health for future visits.

For existing clients, this service includes a follow-up trim and check-up. We'll reconnect at least once each trim cycle to assess your horse's progress, perform a gait analysis, review our action plan, and adjust the trim as needed to ensure optimal hoof health.
